The N gauge models of air-conditioned Mk2 coaches arrived in 2004 and four types were designed. Surprisingly, these are not as popular as the Mk1 ones, despite being good models. Consequently, fewer batches have been produced and Bachmann have not been encouraged to produce the earlier Mk2 large window designs.

Our model is in the familiar blue and grey livery and is numbered 'E9481'. They have no interior unit but the windows are darkened anyway. They correctly have red end corridor connector doors.
