Bachmann 'Jack the Saddle Tank 'Junior Train Set 30-007
Aimed at the young
beginners (3 years plus) market, the set contains a colourful selection of stock, all
unique to the set. The motive power is supplied by the freelance saddle tank model in
Great Eastern Railway blue, but carrying the name Jack on the sides of the coal
bunker. The loco, which is fitted with a 6-pin DCC decoder socket, is lined in red and has
red coupling rods. There are three wagons, two of which are 7-plank open wagons and the
third is a short brake van. The first open wagon is in green and carries the name 'Totally
Toys' while the other is yellow and named 'Pick 'N' Mix'. The brake van is red, with
handrails picked out in white. None of the wagons carries a running number. There is a
circle of track (tooled and manufactured by Kader in China), an AC mains wall transformer
and a DC controller. The set comes attractively packaged.
