Graham Farish 8-plank 377-150B
In order to carry greater loads, some companies ordered 8-plank wagons instead of 7-plank ones. These, however, were far less common. The Graham Farish 8-plank wagon was introduced in 2005 and from the start it has had the early 9ft wheelbase.
Both end door and fixed end versions are made, as well as one with coke rails. The Isleworth Coal Co. wagon (number 10) is of the fixed end type and has a dark blue body and white rimmed wheels. The ironwork is in black and the lettering white shaded red or black. The real wagon was operated by an Isleworth based coal and coke merchant and was built by Thomas Burnett of Doncaster. The coal distribution company was founded by George Cartwright in 1909 and had a depot at Brentford Docks.
