Graham Farish 16T Steel Mineral 377-277B16T_Mineral_Wagon_BR_grey_W.JPG (10720 bytes)

The current 16 ton mineral wagon dates from 2006 and there are four types modelled. This is an example of the type with top flaps over the side doors, known as a 'London Traders' flap. These are thought to have been provided for coal merchants who unloaded wagons by hand - thus the name. This model is in weathered condition and shows signs of heavy rusting, as was common on the real wagons. It carries the number B80285.
