Hornby 6-plank Wagon
The 6-plank wagon dates from 1995 and was one of the 'First' series of 9ft wheelbase wagons introduced that year. It was also one of the first Hornby models to benefit from the newly introduced CAD software.
Now, 16 years later, 38 versions of the 6-plank wagon have been initiated by Hornby and here we have 'Crook & Thompson Ltd' of Blackburn No.43 (R6519). The wagon is maroon with white, shaded black, lettering and black ironwork. The ends of the wagon are printed in large letters - 'C&T B'. The small lettering on the sides says 'Empty to White Moss Coal Co. Ltd Skelmersdale Load 10 tons'
