My first view of the model was at the Hornby press briefing in December 2008 when an almost complete pre-production model was shown to us, Not surprisingly the production model was an early introduction in 2009. The real coach had been built in 1928 and the first model version showed the vehicle as it looked in 1947. The second version, pictured here, shows it with the roof painted white.
Later this year, the first version in BR maroon livery of the late 1960s will be released, looking as it did when operating in Scotland. All versions of the model have an illuminated interior.
