Bachmann 100T Tank Wagon 38-113A
Where large quantities needed to be carried by rail, bogie tank wagons of 100 tons capacity could be used. These started to appear in 1966 when Shell-Mex, BP and Esso were forming block trains of them. They also rode better than the four-wheeled tank wagons. With the arrival of the new 100T bogie tank wagons, the small 2-axle tankers quickly disappeared from trains carrying petroleum products.
This model was designed by Bachmann and the first examples arrived in 2007. Nine versions of the model have been produced so far and this is the second one in Esso grey livery but now numbered 20062.
