Since the acquisition of the Lima tools in 2004, Hornby have gradually been adding former Lima models to their range, but, as the standard of Hornby's own models has increased substantially over the last decade, the Lima models currently being added are mostly ending up in the RailRoad budget range.

 

H Class 40.JPG (44309 bytes)The latest additions are the classes 33 and 40, neither of which had been modelled before by Hornby and better versions of both classes are already available from other manufacturers. So, the Class 33 is now being released in RailRoad packaging in BR green livery as D6537 (R2939) and the first version of the Class 40 to emerge asa RailRoad model is in BR blue as No.4015 (R2938).
