Hornby Toy Story 3 Train Set

The third Toy Story film from Disney and Pixar features a train set and Hornby bought the licence to model it. The requirement was that Hornby needed to produce it to look accurately like the one in the film and this precluded them from using existing models. Consequently, the locomotive and rolling stock were all specially tooled for the set. It is immediately noticeable that the locomotive has no tender and yet, apparently, it does have a tender in the film. This analogue train set contains the loco, box car, caboose and a passenger car, on the roof or which are Woody and Buzz Lightyear. There is an oval of track, an American 'outback' Trakmat and control unit etc.
