Bachmann PNA ballast & spoil 5-rib Wagon 38-095B

These PNAs were converted in the late 1990s by Marcroft Ltd and are used in engineers trains as low volume ballast carriers. Owned by CAIB, they were first leased to Railtrack (like the example illustrated) and later to Network Rail. Bachmann have modelled two designs - those built with five ribs to a side, as shown here, and those built with seven ribs in each side. Our model has recently been released and is numbered CAIB3693.
