DB Schenker (DBS) is the name that is replacing that of EWS as locomotives pass through the works. Owned by Deutsche Bahn, the company has won the Royal Mail contract away from GBRf and Stobart services from DRS. It has also won the contract to operate freight over the High Speed line HS1, taking it through the Channel Tunnel. The bright red livery is more striking than EWS maroon and this has started to appear on the DBS fleet of six Class 59 locos. Here we have the last of the six, 59206 John F Yeoman - Rail Pioneer (R2935), on the former Lima Class 59 model, now made by Hornby
