Bachmann LMS Panelled Stock

These coaches were originally designed by Palitoy for their Mainline Railways, and tooled by Kader in China in 1977. Bachmann reissued them in 1990 as their first range of coaches for Bachmann Branchline.

The models are based on an LMS period 1 designs built in the early 1920s, soon after the formation of the LMS. Illustrated here are a side corridor brake 3rd coach, and two corridor composite coaches. The brake 3rds had five 3rd class compartment, while the 1st/3rd composites had an external door to each of their seven compartments, four of which were 3rd class and three were 1st class. All three models are in LMS crimson lake livery. The brake 3rd (34-226C) is numbered 5268 while the two 1st/3rd composites are numbered 3622 (34-251C) and 3506 (34-252C)
