Bachmann GWR Mogo Van
'Mogo' motor car vans were fully planked and had doors at both ends to allow the cars to be end-loaded and passed van to van until the load was complete. They seem to have been unique to the GWR, certainly in the numbers built. Inside there were wheel chocks and holding-down tackle which could be stowed when the vans were used for other merchandise. They were fitted with end flaps, below the doors, which had blocks fixed to them that rested on the buffer stocks when the flaps were down. These provided a bridge between vans and the open doors completed the 'corridor'. Two recent additions are 37-778B in GWR dark grey numbered 123955 and 37-779B in BR brown as B126428.
