Hornby Class 50 Valiant 'Dutch' livery with sound R2802XS
50015 Valiant was the only member of the Class 50 to be painted in engineer's 'Dutch' livery of grey and yellow and it was only a question of time before it would be added to Hornby's growing list of Class 50 variants. The model was introduced in 2004, receiving much praise at the time, and 18 versions of it have so far been produced. This is the first of two to be fitted with a DCC sound unit. Not being qualified to comment on the sound quality, I take the advice that it is of a realistic quality. In addition to the changing engine sounds, there are options for horn, ventilator, compressor, coupling sounds as well as the sound of the guard's whistle.
