Hornby Class 142 R2809
Besides the HST in First Great Western (FGW) livery, this year Hornby also released their Class 142 in the same livery. The cars are numbered 55718 and 55764 and form set 142068, one of 7 sets run by this service provider. All of the FGW Class 142 sets, which incidentally belong to Angel Trains, operate from Exeter Depot. For a while after delivery, they ran in Northern Rail livery, which would explain why Hornby initially listed it as such and why the box labels were printed with the word 'Northern'. The Class 142 is one of Hornby's older models, dating as it does from 1987.
