Bachmann Twin 'Intermodals' with 45ft Containers 37-309
Like the real thing, these come as a pair of bogie flat wagons, which usually share the same European style running number. They are intended to be semi-permanently joined and are designed to carry 45ft 'Swap Body' containers. The model's wagon frames are diecast, to lower the centre of gravity. Since they were introduced to the Bachmann range in 2001, there has been a continual stream of variations, mostly in the containers they carry. Here we have a green EWS wagon numbered 33 70 4938 324-9 with two blue Samskip 45ft containers. The latter are numbered SANU798868 and SANU799037.
