Bachmann 8-plank Wagon 37-134
In order to carry greater loads, some companies ordered 8-plank wagons instead of 7-plank ones. These, however, were far less common.
There was no Mainline equivalent tooling to use and so the 8-plank was not added to the Bachmann range until it launched its Blue Riband range in 1998. Once again, Bachmann produced two versions, one with an end door and the other with both ends fixed. Thos. W Ward Ltd's Ketton Cement wagon No.S89 has an end door.
