Bachmann GWR 'Mogo' Van 37-779AMogo Van BR brown .jpg (38734 bytes)

'Mogo' motor car vans were fully planked and had doors at both ends to allow the cars to be end-loaded and pass through, van to van, until the loading was complete. These vans seem to have been unique to the GWR, certainly in the numbers built. Inside there were wheel chocks and holding-down tackle which could be stowed when the vans were used for other merchandise. They were fitted with end flaps, below the doors, which had blocks fixed to them that rested on the buffer stocks when the flaps were down. These provided a bridge between vans and the open doors completed the 'corridor'. The model is in BR Bauxite brown livery and numbered 'W105666'.
