Hornby CAR Standard Brakevan R6459
This is a model dating from 1982 and is seen here in a dark bluish green livery and yellow ends. It also carries a Railfreight Distribution logo and the number B954989. This livery was most likely to have been seen in the late 1980s. The vehicle also carries the 'CAR' TOPS code for traffic brakevans and the running fox motif on the sole bars, indicating its allocation to Carlisle Currock wagon shops for maintenance. Apparently the depot chose the fox as its motif as it is the logo of the local football club.
