As previously explained, the 6-wheel milk tank wagon is the former Lima model with a new chassis. Hornby have so far committed themselves to nine versions of it, including two that have yet to arrive. The wagons were unusual in that the chassis belonged to the railway company but the body belonged to the dairy - presumably because only the latter should be responsible for the hygiene of the tank's contents. In consequence of this, some wagons carry two numbers. In other words, the tank and chassis are separately and differently numbered. In the case of this dark blue Express Dairy version, the tank is numbered '25' and the LMS owned chassis is numbered '44190'.
