Hornby GWR B Set Coach R4319B
This model was first released by Airfix in 1977 and five versions were produced by them. After the tooling passed to Palitoy, they produced three versions in their Mainline Railways range. Dapol next had the tooling but did not add any new versions before selling on the tools to Hornby in 1996. Since then, Hornby have produced 10 versions. The one under review is in the mid-1930s to late-1940s GWR chocolate and cream livery with the twin coats-of-arms Great Western markings introduced in 1928. The model carries the running number '6382'. It is based on a vehicle built for suburban services in 1927.
