Bachmann E-Z Track

Following discussion on MREmag concerning raised track that could be used by children and laid on the floor for short term use, Bachmann have sent me three packets of track. 44511 contains four 9" Straight with grey bases, 44411 has four 9" straight with black bases and 44562 contains a right-hand point with a grey base.

The track looks very like that sold for use with Underground Ernie and joins together and pulls apart very easily. The point is designed for remote control. On the grey track, unlike that sold in Underground Ernie sets, the sleepers are black as the sleeper web is seperately moulded and clipped into the moulded 'ballast' base piece. It has stainless steel rails while the black based track has steel rails - in both cases code 100.
