A new series of BR designed vans arrived in 2008; hitherto, most small vans in the Bachmann catalogue had been of pre-Nationalisation design. The new series gives us a good mixture of design and function and here we have a single vent van with corrugated steel ends, planked sides and plywood doors. The van is numbered 'B773727' and represents a real van that was built like this at Wolverton in 1957 or 1958.
