Bachmann BR Fruit Van 37-754A
The Mainline range included a GWR fruit van, the tools to which passed to Bachmann who introduced it to their system in 1990, making it one of the first Bachmann wagons. In 2001 the model was re-released in an improved form for the Blue Riband range and, since then, 11 versions have been produced.
The current model is in BR bauxite brown and numbered 'W134214'. The vans were used to transport fruit to markets and needed to be got there in the shortest time possible - thus the XP rating indicated on the sides of the van.
