To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Milton Keynes Model Railway Society, 1E Promotions commissioned Dapol to produce this model. It is unusually based on the former Hornby Dublo/G&R Wrenn Presflow model which is finished in a plum colour with white side boards carrying the inscription. The dates 1969 and 2009 are printed in white on the wagon itself.
