Graham Farish PCAs
The straight body PCA was introduced to the Graham Farish catalogue in 1993 and four versions were made, including both the ICI Mond and Castle Cement versions, before Bachmann took over production in 2000. Since then, 18 more have been released onto the market. While the two reviewed here are in liveries similar to two of the original models, both have different running numbers and have a better finish and printing.
PCAs are used for the transportation of dry powder, including cement, and are emptied under pressure.
The 'Castle Cement' model (373-007A) is a very pale grey colour and carries the running number RLS 10327. It has a darker grey chassis. The PCA in 'ICI Mond Division' livery (373-008) is all-over off-white in colour and is numbered APR 10111.
