The previous company had introduced 63ft container flats in 1983 but these much improved versions by Bachmann joined the catalogue in 2004. To date, five versions have been announced although unavoidable delays mean that this one was released in 2008 instead of 2006, as planned.
The Freightliner flat is black and numbered B602359. It carries three grey 20ft containers each branded 'P&O Nedlloyd' in blue, orange and white. The containers' numbers are PONU061807[8], PONU093276[7] and PONU162677[7].
