Hornby Maunsell Brake Composite
Following the release of four models based on Maunsell's passenger stock designs for the Southern Railway, those trying to make up authentic coach sets found themselves hampered by the absence of a brake composite; a coach design that was common on the Southern. Hornby listened to modellers' advice and this year produced a 6-compartment brake composite.
We have already seen the two BR 'coach' green versions and now we have the two models finished in Southern Railway olive green livery. These are of the 'low window' type and are numbered '6571' (R4318A) and '6574' (R4318B).
