Bachmann BDA 80T Bogie Bolster 38-150
For 00 scale modellers, there have been various proprietary models of bogie bolster wagons produced over the years, from the first Tri-ang and Hornby Dublo models both of 1953 (and both supposed to be based on LMS designs) to the GWR Mainline and Airfix 'Macaw B' and 'Macaw H' of 1980 and 1981 respectively. Now we have the most accurate model so far in the form of a BDA 'Bogie Bolster D' from Bachmann and this is of a BR design from around 1980.
Our sample is in Load Haul black and orange livery and is numbered '950414'. It comes with sprues containing 12 'pins' which can be placed in a choice of positions on the six bolsters. The under floor detail is particularly good.
