Bachmann Mk1 CoachesMk1 CK maroon.JPG (47725 bytes)

As the steady demand for Bachmann's 'best-on-the-market' Mk1 coaches continues we find a further batch of renumbered examples in the shops. The latest arrivals are two corridor 2nds (SK) and one corridor composite (CK).

The models are: SK in BR blue and grey and numbered 'M24032' (39-025D), SK in BR crimson and cream livery and numbered 'E24159' (39-027E) and CK in BR maroon as 'W15077' (39-126D).Mk1 SK blue & grey.JPG (47837 bytes)

While Hornby's former Tri-ang Mk1 models continue to sell, they are limited to the original five types tooled up in the early 1960s. Bachmann provides a fairly comprehensive range of Mk1 types and with greater detail. These have obvious appeal to those modelling the British Railways period who wish to make up authentic trains with the correct coach types.
