The highly detailed 'Shark' ballast brake van has been released in three more liveries bringing the number of versions released this year to six. The first of the new ones is in BR black, a livery carried in the 1950s. This is R6432, a Stratford based unit carrying the running number DB993789. The second model is R6434 and is in the later dark olive green used in Engineering wagons. This is numbered DB993792 and has a ZUV TOPS coding. The third 'Shark' van is R6433 and is in BR (Dutch) livery of grey and yellow. This one carries the number DB993795 and is classified as a ZUA under TOPS coding.Brake Van Shark BR olive green.JPG (37840 bytes)

The door handles, lamp brackets and handrails are all separate attachments so that they stand out from the body moulding. They each come with alternative ploughs that can be fitted as well as hoses for the buffer beams. All windows are glazed and the control gear on both verandahs is highly detailed - as too is the equipment beneath the floor. The slim-line couplings fit into NEM type pockets.Brake Van Shark Dutch.jpg (33562 bytes)
