The depressed centre tank wagon has been given various descriptive names and Hornby refer to it as a Vee Tank. Since acquiring the tooling in 1996, they have produced 28 versions of it - many of them in sets of three with different numbers. An Alcan version arrived in the Hornby catalogue in 2001 for one year only. The current model is of a similar design but is numbered ALCN11206. It carries the Alcan logo in blue on both sides of the tank.
