Hornby Maunsell Brake Composites
Following the release of four models based on Maunsell's passenger stock designs for the Southern Railway, those trying to make up authentic coach sets found themselves hampered by the absence of a brake composite; a coach design that was common on the Southern. Hornby listened to modellers' advice and this year produced a 6-compartment brake composite.
So far, the BR 'coach' green version has arrived but it is also to be released in Southern Railway olive green. The BR model is available with a choice of two numbers: S6600S (R4320A) and S6647S (R4320B). These are of the 'high window' design.
