Bachmann Ernie 1 Inspection Vehicle UE206

This is an attractive model with potential for scratch-builders as it provides a useful motorised chassis. It consists of a cab with a box behind it for carrying equipment. In the cab there is a seat for the driver but Ernie, being short, has to stand so that he can see out of the front window. In front of him are three red topped control levers and Ernie appears to be working two of them. Beside the cab is a spotlight and in the carrying box are two crates, one of which serves as an on/off switch, by sliding the crate forwards or backwards.
