Hornby Ex-LMS Brake Vans
Three new versions of the former Airfix LMS brake van have been
released this year. The earliest of these is R6296A in BR light grey. This was shown in
the catalogue as M730119 but was released as M732478. The box end cards had been printed
with the original number and had to be corrected with stickers.
R6410 is in Engineer's plain grey and carries the TOPS code ZTO and the running number DM732346. This and the next version both carry warning flashes. R6409 has a very unusual livery which was locally applied. Its yellow and black horizontal stripes earned it the name 'Bumblebee'. This is also classified as a ZTO but carries the number DM732540.
