Hornby 3x Weathered Wagons
Hornby have recently released two sets of weathered wagons, all of which we have previously seen in pristine condition.
R6392 consists of a 3-plank Trimsaran Co. Ltd No.51, 7-plank Firestone
Tyres No.2004 and 7-plank D.R.Llewellyn of Aberdare. The red Trimsaran first appeared in
1996, the blue Firestone in 2007 and the brown Llewellyn in 2006. All carry their original
running numbers.
R6393 consists of 6-plank Bute Merthyr No.325, 6-plank C&G Ayres No.400 and 4-plank Clee Hill Granite No.350. The black Bute Merthyr first appeared in 2006, the green and yellow Ayres with this number in 2007 and the Clee Hill, which has carried five different numbers, was first seen with this number in 2004.
