Hornby 100T Tank Wagon VGT R6391
One of the largest wagons in the Tri-ang Hornby catalogue, the 100T tank wagon, accurately portrays the impact of these large beasts of the railways. It first appeared in the catalogue in 1970, close to the end of the Tri-ang Hornby era. Since than, many versions of it have been released and, over the years, it has been one of the most colourful models due to the liveries carried.
The current release is no exception, being in red. For the first time, however, it is 'weathered'. The livery is that of VTG Rail UK Ltd which is part of the giant European vehicle leasing company VGT AG who have approximately 50,000 wagons. This wagon is numbered 88126.
