Here we have a former Southern Railway 10 ton 5-plank goods wagon which has been painted in Bauxite brown. It carries the running number S14540. The wagon would have been built to Railway Clearing House (RCH) specification and has a central door each side which would have let down to access the load. The model dates from 1978 when it was introduced to the Airfix catalogue. Since acquiring the tools in 1996, Hornby have produced 27 versions of it.
