The large mineral wagon joined the Hornby catalogue in 1998 and, in the past ten years, there have been eleven versions of it. This then is the twelfth. The model, when first produced by Airfix in 1974, was seen as a GWR wagon. However, with the exception of four versions produced in private owner liveries and one in BR livery with a 'P' prefix to its number, Hornby have seen it as a British Railways design and given the models numbers prefixed with a 'B'. This version is in Bauxite brown and is numbered B311281.
