The Hornby DCC range steadily grows and here we have
two more of the promised items. The first of these is the Booster (R8239) which can
be fitted to a layout as an addition to supplement an existing controller by providing
extra track power. It can also be used to automatically handle track polarity reversal
when connected to reverse loop, triangle permanent way sections and 'Y' track
configurations. It will also boost the digital signal from a Hornby Select, Hornby Elite
or an alternative controller and may also be linked to another booster.
The Reverse Loop Module (R8238) can be used when track configurations, such as a reverse loop or triangle permanent way sections are used in a track circuit. It automatically controls the polarity of the track so that locomotives can be operated around these sections of track uninterrupted and without the need for switches and complicated wiring.
