Bachmann have been religiously expanding their wagon range year on year
and this year have introduced five types of van that typify the thousands built by British
Railways in the 1950 as the older vans of the Big Four (and earlier) had to be replaced.
The chassis detail on these is excellent although the tie-bars are missing but could
easily be added.
The five wagons are: 38-160 12T planked ventilated van (early) in Bauxite brown livery and numbered 'B762361', 38-171 12T plywood ventilated van in late Bauxite and numbered 'B765759', 38-180 12T fruit van (early) in Bauxite and numbered 'B875800', 38-181 12T fruit van (late) in Bauxite and numbered 'B875640' and 38-190 10T insulated van in light blue and numbered 'B872208'.
