Bachmann GWR Toad Birkenhead 33-300EGW Brake Van .jpg (39588 bytes)

The Bachmann GWR (Toad) brake van dates back to 1978 when the first ones were released by Palitoy in their Mainline range. The first Bachmann versions were in the shops in 1990 and since then well over 20 versions have been produced. This longevity is illustrated by the '33' prefix to the catalogue number as more recently tooled wagons have a '37' or '38' prefix.

The model is in GWR dark grey livery with a pale grey roof. It carries the number '68761' and the yard allocation as 'Birkenhead'. The printing is very neatly applied and the moulded handrails are picked out in white.
