The first thing to say about the Underground Ernie International Station is that you get a lot more for your money than the box illustration suggests, including 10 potted palm trees which are not illustrated at all.

The station has 12 platform units which clip together to form two terminal bays, the main concourse and the possibility of lines running through on either side. The roof units are hinged so that they can be opened for better access to the concourse. The concourse itself has the suggestion of two flights of steps going down to a lower level. It also contains freestanding book stall, sandwich bar and a vending machine with a photo booth alongside. There are four figures (one sitting),  including the Mayor with his chain of office. The ten sets of four red seats are modelled on those frequently seen on stations today. There are also four standards, each with a pair of monitors for passenger train information, and four notice boards for self-adhesive posters which are provided. The loudspeaker standards are flagged '1' and '2' for the two bays and there are 15 globe type platform lights.

The station comes as a very well packed kit of parts and takes about half an hour to assemble and set out.
