The late summer saw the release of Hornby's budget range which is called Railroad. This includes train packs, wagon packs, individual locos and items of rolling stock and two lineside accessories.
The 'Flying Scotsman' in LNER green with the magic '4472' number has become a permanent fixture in the Hornby range due to its popularity with the less railway knowledgeable public. Now it has been moved into the Railroad range and it is the well detailed 1998 version that has been used. At £50, this is a real bargain!
