The late summer saw the release of Hornby's budget range which is called Railroad. This includes train packs, wagon packs, individual locos and items of rolling stock and two lineside accessories.
2007 has seen the better Lima model of a Class 47 replace the 1975 Hornby model and the latter has moved into the Railroad range. It is produced in Virgin Trains red and black livery as '47844' This had previously been released in this same livery in 1998.
