The late summer saw the release of Hornby's budget range which is called Railroad. This includes train packs, wagon packs, individual locos and items of rolling stock and two lineside accessories.
The Caledonian Pug model first made an appearance in 1980 and was well received at the time. It went on to appear in many non-authentic liveries, mainly for starter sets. It is nice to see it return to CR livery and now carries the number '272', the original having been '270'.
