The BRT bulk grain wagon made its appearance in the catalogue in 1969 and, as such, is a former Tri-ang Hornby model. It was introduced to replace the under-scale model which Trix were to have supplied but of which they had been unable to produce in large enough quantity. Surprisingly, until now, there have been only four versions of the Tri-ang Hornby model and it was last seen 12 years ago. It therefore makes a welcome return. The model is in the normal blue livery with BRT branding. It has a data box which gives the number as 'BRT 7548' and this is the first version to have blackened metal wheels.
