This is a three-car set in the GNER Mallard livery (with its red doors). Although the HST was originally released as long ago as 1981, new models made out in China by Bachmann have a completely new chassis.
In the current pack, the Class 43 power car with this motorised chassis is '43096 Stirling Castle' and the non-motorised locomotive is '43006 Kingdom of Fife'. The trailer car is a standard open as '42058' and is car 'B' in the train. The real set with these two locomotives is owned by Angel Trains and its home depot is Edinburgh Craigentinny.
