The coal drop is made up from three separately purchased parts. These are the shed base and overshoot (N8576), the coal drop ramps (N8577) and the upper incline (N8575). Beyond the lower ramp, embankment will be required.
It makes up into one of the largest single structure in the Lyddle End range. N8576 comes with a raised timber floored platform which goes inside the building to provide access height for unloading and barrowing coal. It also has a separate short flight of steps to use if the building is without its base. However, without the base, the three chutes would not be high enough to be of any use.
