The second batches of the popular Class 101 diesel railcar multiple unit are now in the shops and carry different running numbers from the first batches. These, of course, are the former Lima model and not the earlier Tri-ang version. It is a very attractive model with its flush glazing and high quality printing.

The green three-car pack (R2578A) contains 'M50309' as the motorised driver, 'M50327' as the non-motorised driver and 'M59120' as the central trailer. The model has 'whisker' stripes on the cab ends and triple lining along the sides of the cars. The cab-front code boxes show 'B1' and 'B2' respectively and the destination boxes - 'Rugby' and 'Excusion'.
